We're Apricot Vintage, a small independent vintage clothing store located on the Northwest side of Chicago. We're a neighborhood shop with a wide reach and deep roots, servicing the film industry and vintage collectors worldwide from our home base in the Irving Park neighborhood of Chicago.
Apricot founder Rachel Ullrich began her career in vintage in 1995, started Apricot Vintage in 2010, and opened it as a brick and mortar location at 4108 N Pulaski in 2024, taking on friends Will “JP” Perry and Al Scorch as business partners.
Rachel’s deep knowledge of fashion and design history, passion for preservation, and decades of sewing experience guide her work curating Apricot’s inventory, repairing and restoring historic garments, and assisting costume departments acquire period correct clothing that fit their actors.
We sell world-wide on our webstore (apricotvintage.com) but we’re a neighborhood shop at heart; hosting community events like film-nights and live music, collaborating with other local businesses, and donating to positive causes in our community. Stop by and visit us sometime!
